There were no gloves thrown in the air. Just a few raised sticks and big group hug. Michigan State’s coaching staff wasn’t in a hurry to join the celebration on the ice. One of MSU’s coaches — associate head coach Jared DeMichiel — wasn’t even there. He was away recruiting, trying to build the next Big Ten champion.
