It took some time for MSU’s offensive production to catch up to its defensive vigor, but once it did – spearheaded by a late-first half surge from Minneapolis native Tre Holloman – the Gophers were left choking on the dust. After winning by 18 at Minnesota in their Big Ten opener, the Spartans ran the margin up as high as 22 in Tuesday’s 73-51 win, their 13th in a row.
