Kristen Kelsay wanted to be Michigan State’s head volleyball coach three years ago. She was one of three finalists. She’d been an assistant in the Big Ten at two different spots, including MSU. This was her place, her alma mater, the school and program that she described as a “transformational experience” for her as an athlete and student.
