Two former Michigan State basketball standouts were selected in the first round of the 2024 NBA G-League Draft on Saturday, Oct. 26. Guard Tyson Walker was selected No. 7 overall by the Texas Legends, the Dallas Mavericks’ G-League associated. Just one pick later, forward Malik Hall went No. 8 overall to the Greensboro Swarm, the Charlotte Hornets’ G-League affiliate. Hall had initially signed a NBA Summer League contract with the Hornets prior to being selected by the organization in Saturday’s draft.
