When the 2023-24 school year started, Michigan State junior men’s golfer Ashton McCulloch was recognized at a Spartans football game for his win at the Canadian Amateur last August. McCulloch carried his play over to the college season, where he finished the year by breaking the MSU single-season record for scoring average.
