Michigan State softball sophomores Hannah Hawley and Britain Beshears were named to the All-Great Lakes Region team by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) on Saturday afternoon. Hawley is a First Team selection at designated player/non-pitcher utility and Beshears was named to the Third Team at first base. It’s the first time MSU softball has been represented by multiple student-athletes on the All-Region teams since 2017 (Kaitlyn Eveland, Lea Foerster, Kelcey Carrasco) and the 14th time overall. Hawley represents Michigan State’s first First Team selection since Foerster in 2018.
