With Michigan State’s hockey season ending in Sunday’s regional final loss to Michigan, the offseason has begun, and the Spartans have already been active in the transfer portal. MSU landed a commitment from Colorado College transfer defenseman Nicklas Andrews — a Canton native — who had three goals and 14 assists for the Tigers this past season. Andrews played AAA hockey with the Little Caesars program in Michigan and then was a four-year player for the Tigers. He will play for MSU as a graduate transfer.
