School-Record Shooting Catapults MSU Past Detroit Mercy, 105-44
A record setting night from the field helped the Michigan State women’s basketball team dominate Detroit Mercy 105-44 Thursday night at the Breslin Center. Shooting 70.9 percent from the field (39-for-55), the Spartans broke the school record for field goal percentage in a game set in 1986 against Bowling Green.
