What it’s like to replace a Michigan State legend
Ryan Eckley arrived at Michigan State with a plan. Get acclimated to college life as a walk-on, spend a season developing, and then replace the All-American who preceded him. That last of those goals is daunting, but the redshirt freshman is comfortable with his progress. Eckley has taken over as the starter, was placed on scholarship, and is one of the top punters in the nation.
