Field Hockey Downed by No. 3 Northwestern
Michigan State’s defense played tough but ultimately fell on the road to No. 3-ranked Northwestern University, 6-0. The Wildcats (10-1, 3-0 B1G) offense was aggressive from start to finish on Friday evening. The Spartans (3-6, 1-2 B1G) faced 10 shot attempts in the opening quarter which was the most faced in a single quarter this season.
