Jarvie, Riccardo, and Rutherford Named Preseason Big Ten Field Hockey Players to Watch
Hannah Jarvie (Saline, Mich.), Celina Riccardo (Downingtown, Pa.), and Ellie Rutherford (Edinburgh, Scotland) named to the Preseason Big Ten Players to Watch, announced by the conference on Wednesday. Jarvie, a Michigan native, started 17 of the Spartans’ 18 games at forward during the 2022 season. Jarvie tied for fourth on the team in goals (4) and total points (10), scoring two goals in a 5-2 win over UC Davis. Jarvie is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten pick and a member of the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
