The basketball feels the same leaving Pierre Brooks’ hand as it always has.“It’s felt the same way since I was a baby,” Brooks said. But what’s happening these days after the ball leaves his hand is unfamiliar. Brooks, the Michigan State sophomore guard, has missed 11 straight 3-point attempts for Michigan State stretching all the way back to the Spartans’ game against Nebraska on Jan. 3. It’s a shooting slump that’s proven frustrating and hard to shake as Michigan State goes through a stretch of three losses in four games.
