Michigan State hosts Long Island University on Friday and Saturday for a pair of non-conference games. LIU is in its third season playing Division I hockey, launching its program in the 2020-21 campaign. Brett Riley was named the inaugural coach of the Sharks in May 2020, and has guided his program to a 14-33-4 mark over the first two-plus seasons. This will be the first-ever series between MSU and LIU.
