Michigan State sixth-year graduate senior punter Bryce Baringer, who leads the FBS in punting with a 51.4-yard average, has been named to The Associated Press midseason All-America team. Baringer also leads the Big Ten with 16 punts of 50-plus yards, including five of 60-plus yards.
