Reaching a bowl game wasn’t a problem for Michigan State last year. The Spartans won their first eight games and capped a resurgent season with a Peach Bowl victory against Pittsburgh to finish 11-2. Now at the midpoint of this season, Michigan State is facing an uphill battle just to reach six wins and become bowl eligible.
