Moments after Minnesota had finished its dominating victory over Michigan State on Saturday afternoon, the sounds of the Gophers’ locker room celebration echoed in the hallways tucked in the bowels of the north end of Spartan Stadium. The whooping and hollering was warranted. Minnesota had just whipped Michigan State, 34-7, a score that almost doesn’t explain how one-sided the game was. The Gophers stand unbeaten, the favorite at this point to win the Big Ten West.
