If it’s possible for a Big Ten opener to also be a must-win game, then that is what Michigan State is getting set to play Saturday afternoon at Spartan Stadium. When Minnesota comes to town for the 3:30 p.m. kickoff, nerves of the faithful in green and white — already frayed from a miserable, seen-this-before loss last week at Washington — will likely already be at their peak.
