Michigan State women’s basketball and the Big Ten Conference announced the 2022-23 conference breakdown on Thursday. For the second-straight season, the Big Ten will play an 18-game schedule, after playing a 20-game schedule during the 2020-21 campaign. The conference also played an 18-game league schedule in both 2018-19 and 2019-20. Michigan State will play in-state rival Michigan, along with Maryland, Penn State, Purdue and Wisconsin in home-and-home contests. At the Breslin Center, MSU will play host to Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota and Rutgers. On the road, the Spartans will face Illinois, Nebraska, Northwestern and Ohio State.The complete schedule with the dates will be announced at a later date.
