Women’s Golf Finishes in Fifth Place at NCAA Stillwater Regional
Michigan State’s women’s golf team posted its best score of the tournament, a 2-over par 290, in the final round, but finished in fifth place among 12 teams at the NCAA Stillwater Regional, held at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Oklahoma on Wednesday afternoon. While the Spartans missed qualifying for the NCAA final as a team by finishing out of the top four, sophomore Leila Raines earned an individual invite as one of the top two finishers not on one of the top four teams.
