Women’s Tennis Hosts Rival Michigan on Saturday
The Michigan State women’s tennis team returns home after a four-match stretch on the road to host rival Michigan in a Big Ten contest on Saturday, April 9. A 3 p.m. start will see the two sides square off at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center, as the Spartans are set to play four of their final regular-season matches in East Lansing. Slated No. 75 in this week’s ITA rankings, MSU enters the weekend at 9-8 overall and 1-5 in the conference, while the Wolverines’ 11-5 mark has helped them earn the No. 22 team ranking from the ITA and 18th in the latest USTA Top-25 poll.
