On the heels of winning 11 games, including a New Year’s Six postseason victory in the Peach Bowl, Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker made it abundantly clear to his players early in the offseason that nobody’s job is safe, and a starting role in 2021 means nothing in 2022. And with that, the Spartans got to work on preparing for Year 3 under Tucker with an eye toward the Sept. 3 opener against Western Michigan.
