Tom Izzo is taking his Michigan State basketball team to Detroit this weekend well ahead of its game against Oakland. In part for some team bonding, in part to decompress after finals week. And in big part to try and protect them from the surging coronavirus cases after a number of college basketball games were called off in recent days.
