Merel Hanssen Picks Up NFHCA All-Region Second Team Honors
Following a breakout season for the Spartans, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association named Michigan State junior midfielder Merel Hanssen to the All-West Region Second Team, it was announced Monday. The team leader in goals, assists and points, Hanssen earned All-Big Ten Second Team honors earlier this month after setting career highs in all three categories.
