Compared to his sophomore season, Brown’s 3-point percentage improved by nearly eight points, to an even 42.0. On a team that was the worst long-range shooting Michigan State team in decades, that effort was sorely needed. No other qualifying Spartans player shot better than 36 percent from distance. His volume was still relatively low, at 81 attempts, but his percentage was one of the best in the Big Ten.
