He helped Desert Edge to an 8-1 record last season and was named first-team all-state. “As a player, I go into a game feeling like I’m the only one that could win the game for my team but then play as a team,” he said. “I feel like I need to be the meanest person out there. I need to have no remorse for anybody on the other team.”
