A long and impressive streak is back in focus. Michigan State has had at least one player picked in the NFL draft 80 straight years, which trails only Michigan and USC – at 82 years each – for the longest run in the nation. That streak should be extended with a trio of Spartans eligible to be picked in the draft, which is Thursday through Saturday in Cleveland. However, there’s a good chance it will be the third day of the draft (rounds four through seven) before a Michigan State player comes off the board.
