Michigan State freshman Sarah Franklin (Lake Worth, Fla.) has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week, as announced by the Conference office on Monday, Feb. 15. Franklin continues to announce her arrival to the Big Ten volleyball world, as she averaged 4.50 kills per set in the two matches against Maryland last weekend, both 3-1 Spartan victories.
