Charlie Combs had always thought about transferring. It had remained in his mind, more as an idea instead of an action step. Until March of 2020. When athletic programs, tournaments and schools began shutting down in March due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Combs, then a forward at Bemidji State, sat down with his brother and parents and really talked about transferring. A couple of weeks after coming home, he made a decision. He decided to transfer.
