Michigan State defeated Notre Dame 80-70 on Saturday night with a final score that was not indicative of the demoralizing margin that MSU held for most of the game. Aaron Henry led all scorers with 14 points while chipping in eight rebounds, three assists, one steal, and four blocks, followed by Watts’ 13 points and six assists, and Hauser’s 10 points, sixteen boards (including four offensive rebounds), and four assists. MSU’s defense was the main takeaway from this game so let’s dive right in.
