College basketball coaches spend most seasons worrying about the non-basketball distractions facing their players and how they will affect their team. Tom Izzo will be spending this upcoming season worrying about the opposite: his players not having enough distractions. Michigan State is four weeks into its official preseason practice session. Since those practices started, Izzo has asked his players to maintain what he calls their “personal bubble” to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
