Reed has maintained an aura of mystery since his arrival in East Lansing last summer after transferring from Western Michigan. He spent the entire 2019 season in the shadows while satisfying NCAA transfer rules and wasn’t made available to the media for the first time until nearly a year and a half into his time with the Spartans. All the while, intrigue continued to build. That’ll happen when a Freshman All-American receiver joins a program that had steadily eroded into one of the worst offensive outfits in the game.
