If Michigan State’s football season is canceled, ‘severe cuts would be required’ within MSU’s athletic department, athletic director Bill Beekman told the Economic Club of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce on Monday. “There’s roughly $85 million in lost revenue potential if we don’t play football,” Beekman said during the Q&A portion of his online presentation.
