When MSU offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic came calling, Wigenton listened. He spoke at length with Kapilovic and coach Mel Tucker, followed by a virtual recruiting visit on FaceTime. He cut his list of schools to MSU, Tennessee, Pittsburgh and Maryland, then committed to the Spartans.
