Two second-period goals broke a 1-1 tie to help the Michigan State hockey team top Notre Dame, 3-1, on Friday night at the Compton Family Ice Arena. Logan Lambdin had a goal and assist while goaltender John Lethemon made 40 saves for Michigan State (15-17-1, 11-11-1-0).
