The 20th-ranked Michigan State hockey team fell to No. 11 Ohio State, 3-1, on Saturday evening at Value City Arena in Columbus. Trailing 2-0 late in the third period, Mitchell Lewandowski scored to make it a one-goal game. The Spartans pulled goaltender John Lethemon for the extra attacker in the closing minutes but couldn’t get the equalizer, putting an end to their four-game unbeaten streak.
