Tom Izzo apologizes after loss
Tom Izzo struggled to hide his frustration at the podium. And he issued an apology to the Michigan State fans who made the trip to Maui, “maybe the greatest fan group that was here. ”They came hoping to see something special. Instead, they witnessed old problems: turnovers, foul trouble and poor perimeter defense. “We feel like I let them down,” Izzo said Monday.
