There’s no good way to lose a game, especially one featuring the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked teams in the country. But a review of the film from Michigan State’s 69-62 loss to Kentucky on Tuesday showed that missed open shots were a primary culprit in the Spartans’ loss. And while the team’s 16 turnovers and a parade of first-half fouls are frustrating as well, missing good shots is something Tom Izzo can live with.
