Cassius Winston on pace to be college basketball’s first 2,000-point, 1,000-assist player

Tom Izzo laid down the gauntlet for his start point guard, Cassius Winston, earlier this preseason with a lofty goal. “2,000 points, 1,000 assists, should be one of his goals,” Izzo said. “Should be one of our goals because it’s something that is very, very special.”
