MSU has won five of the last six meetings for the Land Grant Trophy against Penn State, including a 21-17 comeback victory last year in University Park, Pennsylvania. The Spartans have not lost to the Nittany Lions in East Lansing since 2009, winning 27-24 in 2017 and 55-16 in 2015 to clinch the Big Ten East title.
