After Saturday’s win over Indiana, JD Duplain is Michigan State’s most experienced true freshman offensive lineman. The Strongsville (Ohio) product checked in during the first half of the win over the Hoosiers, registering nine plays at left guard. Combined with his seven snaps the week prior in his debut against Northwestern, Duplain now has more on-field reps than fellow freshmen Devontae Dobbs and Nick Samac. Dobbs and Samac both have appeared in two games so far, with the former playing nine snaps and the latter logging 12.
