Michigan State football has been searching for steady yardage from its punt and kick return units for almost a decade. The Spartans believe they can get that and more this season from receivers Jalen Nailor and Darrell Stewart Jr. Nailor is atop the depth chart at punt return for Friday night’s opener against Tulsa (7 p.m., FS1). Stewart is back to the No. 1 kickoff returner, with Nailor behind him. Both took over those roles in MSU’s loss to Oregon in the Redbox Bowl on Dec. 31.
