Forget the spring, even with the progress Michigan State football’s offense showed in its scrimmage. The bulk of the concerns surrounding the Spartans entering this season will continue to revolve around the dearth of production in the final half of last season. The two touchdowns in the final four games, both coming against Rutgers. The inability to run the ball and sustain drives. The inefficiency in the passing game and struggles for receivers to escape coverage.
