Michigan State’s men’s basketball team received one of the NCAA’s highest academic honors for the fourth straight year, the school announced on Wednesday. The Spartans earned an NCAA APR Public Recognition Award award, meaning the team scored in the top 10% of NCAA schools in the latest Academic Progress Rate results.APR is a metric used by the NCAA to evaluate “eligibility, graduation and retention each semester or academic term,” according to a release from MSU.
