With a harsh tone and an absence of perspective, a reporter I’d never seen before unleashed his question on Tom Izzo during a pre-Final Four press conference Tuesday at Breslin Center: “How would you respond to some critics, maybe even some Spartan fans, who will say Tom Izzo needs that second title to validate your tenure and your time here with this program?”
