If this Michigan State basketball team played that red-hot Middle Tennessee State team three years ago, under all the same circumstances, this Michigan State team might have found a way. And if these Spartans had faced last season’s Syracuse squad, on a night neither team could hit a shot, I’m certain now these Spartans would have hit just enough.
