It was fitting that Cassius Winston and Foster Loyer helped deliver Tom Izzo his 600th career coaching victory. After all, that’s what defined Izzo’s program for 24 seasons: strong point guard play. And Izzo admitted that made the milestone victory a little more satisfying. “Yeah,” Izzo said with a proud grin, “being an old point guard myself at Division II, it was.”
