Back in 2009, the scoring-minded point guard led Michigan State to the Final Four, where the Spartans competed in what was not only college basketball’s biggest stage but also their backyard, just an hour drive from MSU’s campus and even closer to Lucas’ high school, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s.
