The newest AP Top 25 poll is out and the voters still think Michigan State is great at basketball. The Spartans fell to Purdue 73-63 on Sunday at Mackey Arena but that didn’t cause Michigan State to fall in the rankings. State remains at the #6 spot – and in a demonstration of the respect the voters have for the Big Ten and Purdue, the Boilermakers jumped from unranked to #17 in the nation. The Spartan loss in West Lafayette is about as “quality” of a loss as one can be.
