This is the second time this season that Winston has been named the league’s player of the week. He was named Big Ten Co-Player of the Week on Nov. 26 following MSU’s championship at the Las Vegas Invitational, when he earned Most Valuable Player honors. In Michigan State’s only game last week, Winston scored a game-high 24 points and handed out seven assists with no turnovers. He connected on 8-of-10 shots from the floor, including tying a career-high with six 3-pointers.
