It’s been 20 years nearly to the date since Michigan State, as four-touchdown underdogs, stunned No. 1-ranked Ohio State, 28-24, in Columbus. It remains among the signature wins of the Nick Saban era and a fond memory for the Spartan faithful — Renaldo Hill’s goal-line interception, Julian Peterson living in the Buckeyes’ backfield. It led to nothing, though. That MSU team didn’t even reach a bowl game.
